I love Cups and Balls very much because this classic routine teaches me many things like Crowd Control, Performance, Dexterity, Misdirection, Construction of a routine, and so on …

And It has been 5 years, 5 long years I spent my time in studying Cups & Balls…
Playing with all kind of cups, balls, routines, patters, and ways of performances…
Finally I pleased with myself that I manage to settle down and have 3 routines which are suitable for my performance…

-          “Mug & Bill” - this is a “1 Cup & Ball” routine which I specially designed for my table hopping close up gig.  It’s kinda impromptu, doesn’t require much space, simple, direct and easy to follow for lay people…

-          “2 Loads” is the name for my 1 of “2 Cups & Balls” routines. It’s suitable for table hopping but required slightly more space compare with “Mug and Bill”

-          “3 Loads” is the other routine for my “2 Cups & Balls”. This routine is more suitable for seated down.

All these 3 routines are just normal “Cups & Balls” routine with a little twist base on my understanding and discovery in Cups & Balls.
They don’t fool magicians (maybe surprise them a little bit here and there but definitely won’t make them jaw drop).
As you can see, I don’t construct them just for the sake of having a different routine or to impress magician;
 the reason I constructed them are for commercial purposes and to serve me so that I feel comfortable and confident to perform them…Along these 5 years, I discovered a way to make a Chop Cup which doesn’t require any “gimmick” and several different ways to use a chop cup. BTW, Yin Howe & Kenneth Khoo know the secret of my “Chop Cup”, it’s kinda cool ;o)

The reason I blogged about this is because I’m glad that after 5 years of trial and error, I finally able to settle down with 3 “Cups & Balls” routines which are able to serve me…
